Affordable alternative 9-cell Lithium-Ion to Dell's OE...
Strengths:  It's an affordable alternative to the ~$160 option from Dell.
Weaknesses:  It's made in China. The original is made in Japan - the quality has yet to be seen. It's also slightly off size.
Review:  This battery arrived quickly and is exactly as promised. It arrived with a partial charge and worked the first time I used it. I ordered this to replace the OEM battery that died and the quality looks to be nearly the same. I can't speak for the long term quality and it's slightly off size, but it took a charge and fit into the Inspiron 1501 that I have.

Review:  Even if i shut down the computer and keep it connected it does not charge the battery. Every time in unplug and plug into my dell computer i get a warning of low power adapter and need to change it to 90-Watt AC adapter which is exactly what this product is. Seller is great. I got the item within 2 days and it came neatly packed. Seller rating is 5*. Product Rating is 3*

Weaknesses:  It is kind of expensive for a replacement unit
Review:  The power cord of my old PA-12 adapter got broken, so I bought this brand new replacement unit. It works fine with my DELL Inspiron 700m. But the price is a little high, and this replacement unit actually does not have a UPC code, so it may cause a problem for the Pricegrabber rebate, which requires a copy of UPC code.

Weaknesses:  Starting during the second year of using this battery, it has been unable to hold the charge, and it can now only hold a charge for approx. 20-30 min...
Review:  I don't mind having to replace the battery, but it is very expensive to replace on Dell. Fortunately, there are online stores where you can buy a replacement battery for half of what Dell charges.
